Top ten symptoms of cancer in women

Ladies, listen: you should take more attention to cancer symptoms because early detection can cure most cancers.

Two of the most widespread types of cancers in women are breast and uterine cervix cancers. If one is cautious and careful, these can be easily detected by annual breast mammograms and pap smear tests after the age of 40.

There is a high risk of breast cancer in urban women because of several factors, including late marriages, late child birth, fewer children, no breast feeding, obesity, smoking, drinking etc.

Given below are 10 most common symptoms of cancer in women:

1. Pelvic Pain
If you feel persistent pain or pressure below the navel, then it can be associated with endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, fallopian tube cancer and vaginal cancer.

2. Abdominal Swelling and Bloating
It is another symptom of ovarian cancer that is mostly ignored. The bloating may be so bad that one can't button their pants, or even have to go up a size.

3. Persistent Lower Back Pain
This is also a symptom of ovarian cancer. Some women describe it as feeling like labour pains.

4. Abnormal Vaginal Bleeding
Abnormal vaginal bleeding may be a forewarning of gynecologic cancer. This is also linked to cervical cancer, uterine cancer, ovarian cancer. Heavy periods, bleeding between periods, and bleeding during and after sex are all considered abnormal vaginal bleeding.

5. Persistent Fever
A persistent fever that continues on and off for more than seven days can be another symptom of cancer.

6. Persistent Stomach Upset or Bowel Changes
If you experience constipation, diarrhea, blood in the stools, gas, thinner stools, or just a general overall change in bowel habits, it can be gynecologic cancer and colon cancer.

7. Unintentional Weight Loss
Losing 10 or more pounds without any reason is abnormal and may be another symptom of the deadly disease.

8. Vulva or Vaginal Abnormalities
With vulva or vaginal abnormalities, you should be aware of any sores, blister, changes in skin color, and discharge. Women should exam their vulva and vagina regularly to look for these abnormalities.

9. Changes in the Breast
During the monthly breast self exam, women should look for lumps. soreness, nipple discharge, dimpling, redness, or swelling.

10. Fatigue
Persistent fatigue is one of the most commonly experienced cancer symptom. It is usually more common when the cancer has advanced, but still occurs in the early stages.
